I TEACH against all these off-the-mark business building “strategies”, and if I’m not careful, I find myself questioning everything I am doing, despite having a multi six-figure business (profit and revenue numbers), working just 3.5 days a week.
The guru advice is horrible. And rampant. And destroying the confidence of many coaches and consultants. This advice leads you to believe that you are failing at all things in your business and life…and if you just followed the next best formula on the market, you’d be a millionaire.
If that was true, wouldn’t there be a lot more millionaires running around online (including those who are “teaching” this bogus stuff)?
I lay in bed last night composing this piece. It was 2 a.m., the ghastly hour that some of my most creative ideas haunt me. As I dozed in and out of sleep, I knew I wanted to convey ONE THING in this article.
Hold onto your hats – this is a new stance from me. Ready for THE ONE THING?
There *IS* a formula for success, as a coach and consultant. I know, I know…if you have followed my marketing, selling, and business building trainings for any length of time, you are probably scratching your head right now. And saying, “OMG! The gurus got her too.”
Because for YEARS I have been teaching THERE IS NO MAGIC PILL or SECRET FORMULA.
Well, as my mama says, if you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em.
Breathe. You have not lost me to the other side. I will NOT be joining the ranks of guru marketers and coaches who continue to sell shitty systems, formulas, and advice.
But I am going to introduce THE ONE FORMULA that will help you build a successful coaching and consulting business. THE ONE FORMULA that will help you truly enjoy your business AND your life. 1. First, it’s imperative that you are so in tune with your Lifestyle Values, that every.single.decision you make from this point forward, is in 100% alignment.

- Do you live for travel? Then let’s get you traveling more, so you don’t regret NOT traveling.
- Are you looking to create more time off during your week? Then, let’s build that in now, so you don’t feel guilty when you are working–and guilty again when you are not working.
- Is creating a future where your financial health is one of pure prosperity and abundance a driving force of yours? Let’s build that business model, now.
If you do not know your hierarchy of Lifestyle Values, I can help you with this. - Hate doing videos? Stop that shit. (Even though the gurus will tell you that you HAVE to do video to succeed. See #4 below.)
- Love working night owl hours? Do more of that. Follow that energy. We have an entire community of coaches in my program who meet up with the rest of us are sleeping.
We have a saying around these parts that we LIVE by: “If it ain’t joyful, we ain’t doing that shit.” We teach it, we live it, and we model it for others.
