Meet M. Shannon Hernandez

Founder of Joyful Business Revolution™ | Messaging & Positioning Strategist | Keynote Speaker & Author of Practical Joy

I’ve spent more than 15 years building businesses and working alongside established experts as they’ve made decisions about their positioning, messaging, offers, and business models.

Before that, I spent years in education and curriculum design, including work with organizations such as the NFL and U.S. Military. Teaching people how to understand complex ideas, recognize what matters, and put what they’ve learned into practice has been a thread throughout my career.

I’ve also built and grown a substantial business of my own. I’m proud of what I accomplished during those years, and I learned an enormous amount about strategy, leadership, profitability, and the relationships that make a business successful.

But eventually, I started asking different questions about what I wanted from my work and my life.I realized I didn’t necessarily want a bigger business. I wanted to spend more time doing the work I loved, have more freedom in my days, and make room for other things that mattered to me.

So I made some significant changes to JBR.

That experience shapes how I work with clients today. I know how much goes into building a strong reputation, and I understand what it’s like when your ambitions and interests evolve beyond the business people have come to know.

These days, I live in Valencia, Spain, with my wife, Maria. Outside of work, you’ll often find me making art, exploring somewhere new, cooking something delicious, or lingering over a long lunch with friends.

I love good strategy, meaningful work, and a profitable business. I also love having the freedom to decide how I spend my Tuesday.

Amy Hager is an experienced marketer, community builder, and coach who works with clients inside JoyFueled™ Business. Amy brings a thoughtful, relationship-centered approach to coaching. She helps clients work through the practical decisions, conversations, and follow-through that support the direction they’re taking their businesses.

As Lead Coach, she’s an important part of the ongoing client experience, providing support, perspective, and accountability as clients put their decisions into practice.
