Here are two takeaways from Season 7 Episode 3:

  1. Focus your messaging on what makes you stand out.

Your positioning directly affects how you talk about your business. It’s an integral part of your messaging. There are plenty of positioning books on the market, however, most seem to be targeted to mid-size and enterprise businesses. So, as listeners of this podcast, reading them is not going to help you get towards your business growth goals. But what we are sharing here will.

2. Stay consistent in your messaging.

Your audience is going to be confused if you talk about your offers one way in email or social media, and then another way on your sales pages and/or in proposals. They’re not going to understand what they’re buying and this inconsistency leads to a disconnect and decline in sales. Your messaging must be consistent and laser focused to keep your audience’s attention.
