Brace yourself: What if your content is THE problem?
I work with lots of business owners around the world on their content strategy and content marketing. And when these peeps initially call me, they say they want these types of things:
- more income
- increased visibility
- a bigger list
- more engagement on social media
- to attract the right types of clients
Sound familiar?
Read these statements, slowly, and aloud:
- I don’t have a money problem: I have a content problem.
- I don’t have a visibility problem: I have a content problem.
- I don’t have a list-building problem: I have a content problem.
- I don’t have an engagement problem: I have a content problem.
- I don’t have a client-attraction problem: I have a content problem.
So take off those rose-colored glasses–and let’s discuss the REAL issue once and for all: Your content is 95+% of your business success. {gasp!}
It affects…
- the way you talk to people about what you do
- the emails you send out
- how many peeps register for your courses, programs, retreats, and webinars.
If your content is ho-hum, unclear, and confusing, your revenue IS affected.
The good news is that I can help you! If you read this blog post, and thought to yourself, “Oh my, Shannon’s talking about me right now,” rest assured, you are not alone. <3
Here’s the big question I want you to ask yourself:
Is your content saving you time and creating opportunities for you, or it is keeping you stuck and frustrated (and in the process draining you energetically and emotionally)?
If you think it’s the stuck and frustrated part, or you are not sure, I am inviting you to apply for a Strategy Session so we can figure out how to find you more ease and joy in your marketing. Who doesn’t want more of that?
