Here are two takeaways from Season 7 Episode 6:

 

  1. Get people behind a cause.

    When you’re telling stories that explain what you’re doing and why you’re doing it, you can rally your audience behind you and your mission. When done well, this is really about making that bigger impact on the world or in the industry you’re in. So dive deep into your mission-based stories. They will help you build that community of people who want to support the greater vision you have. 

 

  1. Show your before and after

Show the total transformation. It’s not just, “hey, we’ve always used positive messaging and you should too.” People can feel your energy. Showcase what makes you authentic–remember to SHOW (rather than tell).
