What to expect from this experience:
It’s not a training, nor a workshop. It’s not coaching, nor a mastermind.
Instead, think of The Joy Money Retreat as a guided business strategy experience and deep dive for your soul. Your role throughout this experience will be to gather, collate and assess information about what’s going on related to your joy and your money, both inside your business and in your personal life.
As you do so, you will be guided through the The Joy Money process of identifying what is truly working and what is not.
From there, we will take an inventory and have a soulful discussion about your next best steps for growth–by putting your joy as THE driver in all decisions–business and life.
During our time together

**Should you desire a private room, you can upgrade for $750. There is limited availability for single rooms, so please reserve early. You also have the option of arriving 1 day earlier and staying 1 day later, if you wish to extend your vacation.
Note: Travel insurance is not included and we highly recommend you purchase travel insurance within 21 days of retreat purchase. We will help you secure this insurance so your trip is protected and insured.
We’ve gained a lot of experience in our 25 years as business owners, and there’s one thing we know is true: You must have a solid foundation, built on joy AND strategy, to ensure your business is profitable and sustainable.
Day 1: Arrival & Welcome Dinner
You’ll arrive at our gorgeous location by 5:00pm and have time to relax and unwind before our Opening Welcome Dinner when you’ll meet the other guests and where our magical connections begin. We will each set powerful intentions for our time together.
Day 2: Discover YOUR Joy Money Connection
After a morning where you have nourished your soul, we kick off mid-morning with a group session. Today you are doing to discover your joy money connection. We will braindump a whole bunch of stuff that is sitting in your brain on stickies, and we will place every single sticky note on your Joy Money Board. The power in this? You’re about to see 1) How much you are doing/thinking. 2) The joy level of each and every thing. 3) Where you are making money and leaking money in your business. This is a powerful experience so you can SEE THINGS IN A NEW WAY–through the lens of JOY. The afternoon is yours to enjoy nature, take a nap, or buddy up with a new business bestie.
Day 3: Vivid Visioning & Curiosity Labs
You’ll enjoy a leisurely morning and yummy breakfast, and then we kick off mid-morning with a group session. It’s time to celebrate and reflect on how far you’ve come, baby! You will enjoy a Vivid Visioning exercise, where you’ll dream bigger and bolder about the future of your business and the impact you are making.
You have a business you are proud of, and it’s time to get curious about your next steps for joyful growth and expansion in our Curiosity Labs. This is where we will explore things like building out your team, refining your customer journey, and diving into the intersection of joy and money in your marketing and lead generation. How much fun can you have playing in the spirit of curiosity, while you plan your best year in business yet?
The afternoon is set aside for you to enjoy the retreat location–perhaps you’ll recharge with a snooze, have a cocktail by the fire, or meet up with some new friends and brainstorm together. The choice is yours!
Day 4: Strategic Planning & Peer Masterminding Circles
In our morning session, you’ll experience the brilliance of Peer Mastermind Circles. We will focus on strategic planning and goal setting, by using the intersection of your joy and money, as a basis for all decisions moving forward. You’ll be inspired by the ideas and wisdom you glean today!
The afternoon will be dedicated to crafting your plan and connecting deeper with your colleagues. You’ll most likely do this while on a hike or from a hammock!
Day 5: Business Expansion Sessions, Implementation, Celebration Dinner and Next Steps
It’s time to put your vision into action! We will work together on an implementation plan for your business, and today you will also have your 1:1 Business Expansion Session. Dinner this evening will be a true celebration to acknowledge what has changed and shifted for you during this retreat, as well as a declaration of your next steps in business, now that you have clarity in vision and are laser- focused on your business growth plan.
Day 6: Departure Day or Extend Your Stay
Wow, it’s our final day together! It’s been five days of breakthroughs, creative work sprints, connection, and clarity. You’re leaving this retreat with your Joy Money Plan for your best year yet!
Each Joy Money Retreat is $5,500 USD (flight/transportation are not included). This includes everything mentioned above, and the time and space to work on your business. Retreats sell out quickly!

M. Shannon Hernandez and Amy Hager are ALL ABOUT THAT JOY in life and biz—and this duo is specifically known around the globe for their joyful Business Growth Strategies. They work with online coaches and consultants, teaching them how to grow a highly profitable business that includes abundant time off.
Shannon is the founder of Joy Money Revolution and a sought after expert in online business strategy, and she has been featured on CBS, ABC, The Huffington Post, FOX, and NBC. She has over 25 years in award-winning curriculum design and is a master trainer and teacher. Amy, a true marketer and community builder at heart, helps clients apply simple strategies for increased revenue and productivity. When this dynamic duo is not working with their clients, you will find them funding projects that impact the world and its people, visiting wineries, and traveling the world.

Is there someone who can help me with flight arrangements?
Yes, there most certainly is! Our travel concierge, Natalee Fox, is on standby to assist you with flight arrangements if you choose. There is an additional flat fee for this service.

You will want to fly into Albany, NY, and then make your way to the retreat center via car. Please arrive at the retreat center no later than 5pm. The drive is about 1 hour and 15 minutes–and is easy terrain to navigate. If you rent a car, there is plenty of parking on site. We can help facilitate car pools with other attendees.
If you book your own flights, you must still provide your entire flight itinerary to Natalee. We will reach out to you to gather the information and offer you help, if you’d like it!
How many people attend each retreat?
We like to keep these super intimate–so at the most, there will be 15 other guests, and you!
I prefer my own room, not double occupancy. What are my options for a single room?
Should you desire a private room, and if they are available, you can upgrade for $750. There is limited availability for single rooms, so please reserve early. Simply register for your retreat and then email email@example.com requesting the single room option.
If I pay for the retreat, and decide I can’t go, what happens?
Can I come early and/or stay longer at the resort!?
Yes – and we’ve negotiated special pricing just for our group if you’d like to do this. You can arrive one day early and stay one day later, for an additional fee. We will be in contact with your options after we receive your registration.
These retreats rock! Can I attend multiple retreats in a year?
Yes you can–as long as you meet the qualifications each time. We do have “retreat offenders” …hahah…and they love gifting themselves time away each quarter to work on their biz and have tons of fun with their peers while doing it! (And yippeee, it’s a tax deduction!)
