A 2-hour live working session for established experts who want stronger referral language, more intentional referral partners, and more of the right people thinking of them sooner.

Being known isn’t the same as being easy to refer.

Someone in your network asks: “Remind me again. Who are you looking to work with these days?”

They know you, your work, and would be delighted to send someone your way.

But that question tells you something important.

They’re not completely sure who to listen for, when your name should come to mind, or how to talk about what you do now.

And that matters…because referrals can’t happen if the people around you don’t recognize the opportunity when it’s right in front of them.

Sometimes that means:

  • referrals barely happen at all
  • the introductions you do get are close, but not quite right
  • people are still referring an older version of your business
  • people who regularly work with your ideal clients don’t realize they could be sending opportunities your way

When people wonder why they aren’t getting referrals, we see two things happening

  • Although they are known by others, they are not getting referred.
  • Even if they’ve worked on their language to become more referrable, they are not in the right rooms with people who are positioned to help.

Inside the Make Your Expertise Easier to Refer working session we’re going to make that easier for the people who already know and trust your work. You will leave with stronger referral language, a clear map of the referral partners who should have it, and 3–5 referral partner relationships who can open doors for you.

    People can know your work.

And still not know how to refer you.

You already have a strong reputation and people in your corner who’d happily send the right opportunities your way.

The problem is, wanting to refer you isn’t the same as knowing when to think of you. You need to know people who know buyers who need your help and these potential partners need the right words to say to make the introduction.

When your network has to piece the right words together on its own, good opportunities get missed: Referrals come in that aren’t quite right. People repeat an outdated version of what you do. Or they simply don’t think of you at the moment they should.

And if they understand what to listen for, when to think of you, and why you’re the right person to introduce, they can become an entirely different referral pipeline for your business.

So the question isn’t only: “Does my current network know how to refer me?”

It’s also: “Who is already having conversations with the people I most want to reach?”

And: “Do those people know enough about my work to recognize the opportunity?”

You don’t just need better referral language. You need to know who should have it.

We’re going to work on both sides of the referral equation.

    Get clear on:

    • the work you most want referred now
    • who the strongest-fit buyer is
    • what may be happening when they need you
    • what that person might actually say out loud
    • the language another person could hear, remember, and repeat

Put that language in front of the right people.

    Then identify:

    • which professionals regularly work with or advise your ideal buyers
    • which categories of people are most likely to hear those conversations before you do
    • who already exists inside or adjacent to your network
    • which relationships are worth intentionally developing next

You don’t need everyone to know how to refer you.

You need the right people to know what to listen for.

    Why Shannon + Catherine?

Because better referrals need referral-ready language and the right relationships.

Shannon Hernandez, founder of Joyful Business Revolution™, helps established experts make their work easier to understand, recognize, trust, and act on.

Catherine Brown, sales strategist and founder of the Good Humans Growth Network®, helps business owners build more intentional referral and collaboration relationships.

Shannon will help you clarify what people need to understand, remember, and repeat about your work. Catherine will help you determine who needs to understand it well enough to open the right doors.

One helps make the message easier to refer. The other helps you think more strategically about who should have that message.

    Is this for you?

This working session is for established experts, consultants, advisors, fractional leaders, coaches, strategists, and service providers who already have credibility, relationships, and work people trust.

The problem isn’t that you aren’t known.

It’s that referrals are still more accidental than you want them to be.

    You may be thinking:

    • “I get referrals, but they’re inconsistent.”
    • “People know what I do, but I’m not sure they know when to send someone.”
    • “I’m getting referrals for an older version of my business.”
    • “I know a lot of people, but I’m not intentionally developing referral partners.”
    • “I don’t know what to tell someone to listen for.”
    •  “I’ve mostly thought about referrals coming from clients.”
    • “I know who my buyers are, but I’ve never really mapped who else regularly works with them.”
    • “I keep networking, but I’m not sure I’m building the right relationships.”
