A 5-week live referral strategy cohort for established experts who want stronger referral language, better-fit introductions, and the right people thinking of them sooner.

Being known isn’t the same as being easy to refer.

Someone in your network asks: “Remind me again. Who are you looking to work with these days?”

They know you, your work, and would be delighted to send someone your way.

But that question tells you something important.

They’re not completely sure who to listen for, when your name should come to mind, or how to talk about what you do now.

And that matters…because referrals can’t happen if the people around you don’t recognize the opportunity when it’s right in front of them.

Sometimes that means:

  • referrals barely happen at all
  • the introductions you do get are close, but not quite right
  • people are still referring an older version of your business

Being known isn’t the same as being easy to refer.

Inside the Make Your Expertise Easier to Refer cohort, we’re going to make that easier for the people who already know and trust your work.

Session Dates & Times

(All sessions on Zoom)

US / Canada Eastern Time: Oct 8 – Nov 5 | 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM ET

    People can know your work.

And still not know how to refer you.

You already have a strong reputation and people in your corner who’d happily send the right opportunities your way.

The problem is, wanting to refer you isn’t the same as knowing when to think of you, who’s a strong fit for your work, or what to say when they make the introduction.

When your network has to piece that together on its own, good opportunities get missed: Referrals come in that aren’t quite right. People repeat an outdated version of what you do. Or they simply don’t think of you at the moment they should.

What if you didn’t need more people in your network?

But what is needed is for you to make it easier for the right people to recognize the right opportunity and know exactly what to do with it.

    That’s what we’ll build together.

Build a referral strategy the right people can use.

Over five weeks, we’ll help you clarify what you want to be referred for, develop language other people can understand and repeat, and identify the relationships best positioned to send aligned opportunities your way.

    You’ll work on:

    • who your strongest-fit clients are
    • the moments and transitions that should make referral partners think of you
    • what your best-fit buyers might actually say
    • language your referral partners can confidently use when making introductions

Then you’ll turn it into something your network can actually use to recognize the right opportunity, think of you faster, and make the introduction.

You’ll leave with your own Referral One Sheet.

Your Referral One Sheet gives the people in your network exactly what they need to recognize a strong-fit opportunity and make the introduction.

    • Who to send your way
The people and situations that are the strongest fit.
    • When to think of you
The problems, desires, changes, and transitions that should put you on their radar.
    • What to listen for
The actual language your best-fit buyers are likely to use.
    • What to say about you
Simple referral-ready language they can remember and repeat.
    • How to make the introduction
A sample introduction, useful links, and a clear next step.

You’ll leave with a tool designed to help someone say: “I know exactly who needs to meet you.”

    What we’ll build together…

    October 8

Clarify What You Want to Be Referred For

Get clear on the work you want more of, who’s the strongest referral for the work you are doing now, and where your current referral language may still be too broad or tied to an older version of your business.

    October 15

Make Your Expertise Easier to Recognize

We’ll clarify the moments, transitions, and buyer language that should make someone think of you, then turn those cues into referral-ready language others can actually remember and use.

    October 22

Implementation Week + Messaging Office Hours with Shannon

Shannon will help you pressure-test the language you’ve created and spot where it’s still too broad, vague, or hard to repeat. Bring your draft, your sticking points, and the parts you keep over-explaining. You’ll leave with sharper referral language after this session.

    October 29

Put the Right Language in the Right Hands

Catherine will help you look beyond your immediate network and identify the people already working with, advising, or influencing your ideal clients. You’ll learn how to spot the relationships most likely to hear the right conversations and recognize when your expertise belongs in them. Then you’ll decide who should have your referral language first.

    November 5

Build Your Referral One Sheet + Activation Plan

Pull everything together into a finished Referral One Sheet you can confidently put into circulation, then choose the first relationships to activate so the work starts creating better introductions right away.

    Plus, you’ll also get…

2 Months Inside the Good Humans Growth Network®

Your work doesn’t have to stop when the cohort session ends.

Your enrollment includes two months as a Community Member of the Good Humans Growth Network, giving you a place to practice what you’re learning with other relationship-minded business owners.

    • 2 months of access to the Good Humans Slack community

    • Additional referral training from the Good Humans Growth Network

This gives you a live community where you can start putting your new referral language and relationship strategy to work while you’re building it.

    Why Shannon + Catherine?

Because better referrals need referral-ready language and the right relationships.

    M. Shannon Hernandez, founder of Joyful Business Revolution™, helps established experts make their work easier to understand, recognize, trust, and act on.

Catherine Brown, sales strategist and founder of the Good Humans Growth Network®, helps business owners build more intentional referral and collaboration relationships.

Shannon will help you clarify what people need to understand, remember, and repeat about your work. Catherine will help you determine who needs to understand it well enough to open the right doors.

    You need both.

    Is this for you?

This cohort is for established experts who already have credibility, relationships, and work people trust.

The problem isn’t that no one knows you.

It’s that the people who know you are still unclear on who to send, when to think of you, or how to explain what you do now.

That’s how good relationships produce mediocre referrals.

It’s time to help the right people to recognize the right opportunity and know exactly when to bring your name into the conversation.

Make it easy for the right people to refer you.

Your referral partners don’t need to memorize everything you do.

They need enough clarity to recognize the right person, understand why you’re a fit, and make the introduction.

    Let’s give them that.
